The 58th CCFA Franchise China (Beijing) opens at China International Exhibition Center (Tianzhu New Hall) today (May 22). This is the only professional franchise exhibition held in Beijing since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, and it is also the first time that the CCFA Franchise China (Beijing) has staged offline exhibitions after one year. It has attracted franchised companies and franchise investors from all over the nation and undertaken the leading responsibility of breaking the bottleneck, boosting market confidence, and accelerating market recovery.
In response to the new situation, pattern and challenges faced by the franchise market in the post-pandemic era and the 14th Five-Year Plan period, Franchise China (Beijing) focuses on the four major trends of high-quality, digitalization, standardization, and market in lower-tier cities, and calls on franchised companies and franchise investors to “Redefine Borders · Build a New Life Together”.
At the opening forum of "Redefine Borders· Build a New Life Together" in the morning, Pei Liang, President of China Chain Store & Franchise Association, gave a speech. He pointed out that the pandemic has exerted great impact on the physical chain industry, but presented opportunities: the digitalization of enterprises is accelerating and becoming more prevalent; online and offline integration is accelerating, and new models and new forms are emerging; franchising models get more attention and the franchise market is entering a period of rapid growth.
He hoped that all franchised companies can stick to their original aspirations during the development of franchise market, protect the interests of enterprises and franchise investors, and carry out franchising in a standardized manner. He also expected that Franchise China will continue to lead, serve and assist enterprises as a platform to promote franchise development, enabling sound and long-term development of the franchise market.
Ma Changjun, Vice Chairman of the Beijing Branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and first-level inspector, said in his speech that the life service industry is an important part of the real economy, franchising is an essential development model for life service enterprises. The high-quality development of franchising will greatly contribute to the high-quality and diversified development of the life service industry.
A total of more than 400 brands participated in this exhibition, covering more than 70 sectors including Chinese and Western style catering, beverage, barbecue, coffee roasting, braised food, fresh food, quality education, K12 education, beauty and personal care, clothing, household products, community services, and playground equipment for kids, etc.
Judging from the participating brands, integration, expansion to lower-tier market, digitalization, and high-quality standardization are the general trend. From a market perspective, the increasingly diversified and personalized needs of consumers have allowed the emergence of complex scenarios and forms; the huge consumption potential of the lower-tier market has driven more brands to make the value-for-money as a strategic priority. Digitalization and high-quality standardization have become new essential needs for enterprise development.
The Children’s Education Franchise Development Forum and other events held today at the exhibition site discussed the industry in terms of policies, trends, and brands.
Events such as the Franchise Standardization Summit, Trendy Food and Drink Franchise Forum, MIX Talk Baijia Forum, and MIX Talk Brand Show will be held tomorrow at the exhibition.
