The predecessor of Beiing International Exhibition Center Co., Ltd. was BeijingInternational Exhibition Center (“the Center"), a public institution affiliated withthe China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Beiing Sub-counci(“CCPIT Beijing”). Over the past 30-odd years since its establishment in 1985, theCenter has successfully undertaken various large-scale activities assigned by thePeople's Government of Beijing Municipality and CCPlT Beijing, actively leveragedthe role of the market in allocating resources, and engaged in the internationaexhibition business as part of the international service trade. lt has presentedupward of 300 international exhibitions under its roof. The exhibitors' list includedover 75,000 companies and manufacturers from more than 40 countries ancregions, as well as well-known global brands in related sectors. In addition to organizingand hosting international exhibitions, the Center has also led Chinese delegationscomposed mainly of Beijing-based industrial and commercial enterprises tomore than 30 countries and regions in five continents to participate in internationaexpositions.In so doing, the Center has helped promote mutual understandincbetween Beijing and the rest of the world, and contributed positively to China'sforeign trade.
In November 2019, Beijing International Exhibition Center was incorporatedand renamed as Beijing International Exhibition Center Co., Ltd. The Companyhas been a contributor to the high-quality development of Beiing's exhibitionindustry ever since.
